Ask anyone what they’d take if the house was on fire. The kids. Then the box of photos.

Everything else is replaceable. The couch, the telly, even the house itself. But the photos of your babies at exactly the age they’ll never be again? There’s no shop that sells those.

Here’s the trouble. That box isn’t a box anymore. It’s a download link. A folder on a laptop that’s due for an upgrade. A phone that’s one bad day from the bottom of the pool. We’ve spent twenty years telling each other our photos are safer as files. Most of us have never tested whether that’s true.

Why We Call Them The Masters

In music, the masters are the original recordings. Not the copies, not the streams, the originals. They’re the one thing every artist protects above everything else, because when a master is gone, it’s gone.

The music world learnt this the hard way. In 2008 a fire tore through the Universal Studios archive and destroyed thousands of master recordings by some of the most loved artists of the last century. Gone, permanently. And when Taylor Swift’s masters were sold out from under her, she spent years fighting to get them back, re-recording album after album, until “own your masters” became something everybody understood. She got them back in the end. All of them.

Your gallery is your family’s masters. The original portraits of the people you love most. They deserve the same protection the music world gives its originals.

How It Works

When your artwork is ready, your gallery is open for 10 days to download your images. Life gets busy and 10 days goes fast. As a Masters member, there’s no race.

Your complete gallery, held safe with us. Every image, high and low resolution, year after year.

Re-download anytime. New laptop, lost phone, a print for Grandma’s birthday. No expiry. Members never pay the $150 retrieval fee.
